Belle Oak Villas is a lovely gated community in Largo area with great amenities. It’s close to the Gulf Coast and has plenty of things to do for people of all ages! Here are some ideas of what you can do while visiting our neighborhood:
Walk in a Park
There are many wonderful parks nearby. You can walk around the beautiful Lake Willow, which has a walking path and is home to many different species of birds. It’s also close to Quiet Waters Park, an expansive park with biking trails, kayak rentals on-site, fishing areas (including bass fishing), canoeing/kayaking in certain locations along the waterway that goes through it, tennis courts, playgrounds for kids of all ages including toddlers and older children alike!
Many people bike or jog at this park as well since there are multiple sets of sidewalks throughout the entire property. You can even rent bikes near one end if you don’t have your own set. There are also picnic tables available so families can eat together after spending time outdoors. If you go further down past where you can rent kayaks, you will find even more trails to explore.
Visit the Library
There’s plenty of reading material to choose from at your local library! You can also check out e-books online if you have an account. Some libraries even offer free internet access so that you can look up more things about what you’re interested in without having to pay anything extra on top of paying for books!
Catch a Movie
There are several theatres in the area that let you watch movies for cheap or sometimes even free! You can get tickets to many of these theatres online ahead of time so that you don’t have to wait in line when it’s showtime. There are also discount gift cards available if your local theatre doesn’t offer any discounts, including AMC Theatres and Regal Cinemas.
Watch a Live Show
There are several live shows in the area at different times during the year depending on what is going on around town. For example, there may be an opera house nearby where you could see some great performances by professional singers and dancers from all over.
Go Shopping
If you love shopping, then Belle Oak Villas has many stores nearby that are perfect for your needs. You can head down to Tyrone Square Mall which is one of Florida’s largest malls with over 200 different shops inside including Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy Outlet, Gap Factory Store, Saks Fifth Avenue Off Fifth Clearance Center, and more! There’s also plenty of food options to choose from, including at least 15 different restaurants.
