Great place to take kids to have outdoor fun. There’s also a great group of Christian believers that hold bi-weekly sport events for nieborhood kids

Family fun indeed. My now teenagers enjoy it just as much as when they were little little. Clean, spacious, age appropriate play and equipment.

Overall nice park/area. Some minor equipment issues here & there at the playground that minimally seem properly/consistently running/fixed, but there’s lots of space to do stuff around that stuff🤷♂️👍

Excellent playground at this park in the city of Port St Lucie to take your kids to no matter if they are 2 or 12. Three story playground with big slides for older, smaller slides and challenges for younger. Tree cover gives shade if wanted in enough places.

This was the dirties dog park. Everyone who showed up let their dogs take a dump and didn’t even bother to clean up. If you want your dog to get sick immediately this is the park to visit.

Absolutely love these Gardens. A lot of hard work by volunteers & staff have gone into making this an incredibly beautiful, serene place. I was so happy to learn we could walk our dogs there. They love it, as do we! Dogs must be leashed. Please pick up after them, & keep it open for pets & a great experience for everyone.

This an easy walk through the wetlands of a nature preserve in Port Saint Lucie but without getting too wet. The vegetation and possible wildlife you may see is typical of this Florida region and supposedly there is an old Indian mound at the end of the longer trail. This longer of the two trails can get muddy. There is a short trail (where you park) which is mainly dry and hard packed and ends in a cemetery marker and if you cross the street, it continues briefly to the shore of the St Lucie River. The longer trail is more challenging (because of the mud) but much more interesting. The long trail will take about 1:30 roundtrip at an easy pace. And yes, there are snakes and gators (it’s Florida!) watch your pets and small children.

Did you know………..
Back in 1979, The North Fork of the St. Lucie River so resembled the Amazon that it was used for stunt shots in the James Bond (Roger Moore) film Moonraker, released in 1979. Star Roger Moore watched as a stuntman took his role while boats were blown up along the the river. The scene lasted an estimated 30 seconds in the film.
The St Lucie River is very scenic when seen from a boat.

Beautiful Scenic waterways beautiful landscaping plenty of parking places to launch a canoe or kayak or just stop Park load or just have a bite to eat.(must have your own sack lunch). Never any crowds or wait to load or unload your canoe or kayak, plenty of room to dock, relax and take a break. Unfortunately no public restrooms or freshwater. Also known as Halpatiokee Canoe & Kayak Launch Access, Evans Creek.
