A pretty park with the added bonus of being an exercise circuit park (remember when those were popular?). It’s located on the water and is peaceful, however my wife and I went to a park bench to eat lunch and were assaulted by literally at least 100 Egyptian Geese and Muscovy Ducks ( hence the 4 instead of 5 stars).

I was amazed at the large number of Egyptian geese here… I saw an 8guana run into the lake but it did not come up for air in my line of sight…

I have no idea why this piece of s#&* park would have 4+ stars. This place is falling apart. Its infested with black, red ants & mosquitos. The toys are rusted & falling apart. The worst I’ve been too. I have a 4 & 5 yr old & we just move to pines. I see Pembroke pines does not lean or keep up with its parks, when this is suppose to be a family oriented city. Not to mention how fast everyone drives around here. The major needs to do better!

This park is amazing, nice and quiet with a lot of swings and slides for the kids. Best part is that is never full so there’s no issues with parking. Sandbox and basketball court are present.

The park is nice.
Open and green.
Needs more garbage cans.
The backside/lakeside of the trail has benches and exercise stations, and no garbage cans.
Visitors should be able to dispose of their garbage easily.
I believe this will help keep the park clean.

I called today in regards of reserving a field for me and my buddies annual Turkey Bowl football game on thanksgiving. As we’ve done it in years prior.
For some reason , the young lady who answered the phone today around 11:35am claimed the Park would be closed, and has always been closed on thanksgiving. Made no effort to get any additional information although I plead to her considering I’ve actually played at piccolo in years prior.
Understanding last year may have been different because of Covid, I asked if there’s been any changes.
I was cordial, I needed literally the tiniest hit of information and it seemed it was still too much to ask for from whomever picked that phone up.
Sad that on a day where I look forward to every year to form memories and make use of the Park , it was immediately shut down because a teenager was having a bad morning. Whoever that was needs to humble themselves, if you don’t want to work, then don’t work there maybe?

Wonderful park for RV stays. Clean bath houses, lots of trails for cycling. I was able to ride 8 miles on trails on my bike and never left the park. A definite highlight were the iguanas! From a few inches up to 3.5 foot…they were amazing to see. 50 Amp hookups available, easy in, easy out.

Great, spacious park. More shade on the eastern side of the park. Water park closed at the moment but I hope it opens again someday soon, it’s sweet and lots of fun, even for teens. This park has been in Broward almost forever, and it’s always well maintained and safe. Path around the park is great foe running and walking and biking.

It’s a great place to take your dog’s to.Has water bowls for your dog’s to drink and hoses for you to wash your dog’s off.People are friendly along with the dog’s.The only thing is people bring their little dog’s in to the big dog section.Overall it was a great experience for me and my dog’s.

This park does not deserve any stars…had a football game here today. Straight flood, water past your ankles, no lightning sirens heard at all!!!! The cover for the meters was floating in the water, in which a child fell in trying to get out the rain/storm. Maybe a great park when it’s not raining…

Looks like this park is being repurposed. The baseball fencing, seating, dugouts and batting cages have been removed. So has the field clay. It was all covered in sod. My guess is the fields are being permanently converted to soccer/football.
Meanwhile the kids playground, which is nicely equipped and shaded, remains open. Three star rating based on the playground.
