The exhibit was fabulous! All the Dali work was incredible, including the movie. My boys enjoyed all of it, but the 7 year old lived the maze. The 9 year old said , ” This was much more fun than I expected. ” The staff was SO amazing! I cannot even begin to thank them for being so kid friendly and helpful! The staff really helped put this review at 5 stars!

Of course I loved the paintings and the Lee Miller exhibit . I suggest an introductory video of Dali’s biography somewhere LARGE and VISIBLE to everyone entering. Also with a printed guide map of the work following the film. This way, all visitors could connect the artist and the different time era to the paintings inside. And have better flow movement.
The tour is short, and the guide is lost with the crowd, and so is the important explanations.
This Museum is too valuable to just let people look at the art without been able to guide them properly through the stages.
There are also voice recordings that could be placed in each section, for a better appreciation of the painting.
This is a genius artist, his work should be better understood.

My family had a great time here. The permanent collection is fantastic and tells Dali’s story well. I loved how the works were oriented, so that you could connect one with the other. A beautiful building and arrangement.
Make sure to download the Dali Museum app on your mobile device!
The AR integration was a big hit with my kids and had them looking for hidden objects in all of the large works. The app tours are also good and I even used them after our visit, too!
Great gift shop, too!

A great stop to make for anyone that appreciates art. We have year passes, even my 10 year old enjoys going. They change things up frequently, so there is always something new to see. Their kid camps are also amazing. The woman the runs the kids’ programs is absolutely golden.

We drove over from Tampa to visit one of the best fine arts museum in the country. Many pieces of works by the old masters are on display here plus other pieces of art by soon to be famous artists from around the world. Whether you live here or are just visiting this is a must see.

This was my first and last visit to the museum of fine arts museum’s cafe. I was invited by close friends to share mother’s day brunch with them. Our reservations were at 1pm and I was seated by 1258. It took 20 minutes just for our waitress to take our order. Ten minutes later she came to inform me that the crab cakes I ordered were sold out. So I ordered an alternative. Ten minutes after that a couple sitting next to me ordered crab cakes (the same ones that were sold out) and received their meal even before ours came out. It took a total of 1 hour and ten minutes to recieve our food. I counted 5 tables that arrived after ours and received their food before us. When we complained we did get a discount and the waitress brought our bill out 5 minutes after our food arrived. I have never received a bill before finishing eating and the others in my party actually wanted to try the dessert. Needless to say, by then my appetite was gone and the salmon I ordered was bland. Will not return..

This is not your typical glass blowing display that you see at a flea market, lol. I had no idea what to expect. They have a nice audio accompany that goes into a little more detail in what you’re looking at. You can walk through this and be done in 30 minutes if you want. But take your time and let yourself really appreciate what you’re looking at. There is a very small theater room where you learn a lot more about what you just saw, and also learn a little about Dale Chihuly himself. A really nice way to spend a Sat afternoon, especially in the Florida heat!

Absolutely beautiful Museum and would highly recommend going. Itâs an a buzzing part of town so the walk isnât bad at all and the parking is pretty adequate. I would give it 10 stars if I could because the glass pieces were absolutely beautiful and we even took a couple home with us.

First time visitor and I was impressed with the collection! My husband hates art and art museums and even he loved it. Some have complained that the price is a little steep, and it is but worth it for me. The staff there are very nice, Iâm sure theyâd offer a pay what you can deal if you asked.

Incredible history displayed here. Staff are friendly and helpful. I always learn and appreciate this place more with each visit. So much respect for the history, the survivors, the perished and the liberators of this tragedy.

A few years ago my family and I visited the Florida Holocaust Museum. It was at the top of the list for places my niece wanted to visit. My family and I found this museum quite moving and very easy to navigate. We took a self guided tour and felt each exhibit and level lead to a deeper empathy and understanding for horrific events that we already knew about but should never forget. The displays were interesting and the railcar moved a few of us to tears. The witness statement videos’ are invaluable. Highly recommend every human, no matter what part of the world you’re visiting from, take a few hours and go through this museum.

I was considering to visit, but after my browsing experience into their website I’ve decided not to. How come a museum does not have a secure site?? My browsers kept blocking me for it and have no idea on details (price, parking, etc.) or reviews – you guys need a PR and IT.

A beautifully curated collection. The whole family enjoyed it including the kids ages 10 and 13. The space is transformative and the complimentary coffee was a lovely touch. I donât think Iâve ever seen that many bronze sculptures in an indoor museum, usually itâs an outdoor sculpture garden. The collection was larger than we expected, and we spent 2 hours, but you could spend longer without kids in tow. The audio tour was helpful but we would have loved a kid friendly one. Overall a lovely afternoon to slow down, reflect on history, and enjoy some art.

Great place to experience Western and Native American art and culture. Was good way to expose our kid to this, since we are going to be visiting Yellowstone this year. Beautiful bronze sculptures and amazing paintings fill the museum. Also great restaurants all around it!

James Museum is a must see if you visit St. Petersburg. Be ready to spend hours. It’s full of art about the American west and wildlife from around the world. Paintings of native Americans including some by natives. Also authentic native American jewelry. Stunning oil paintings, brass sculptures and jewelry made from gold, silver and precious stones. We will definitely visit again.

Took a helicopter ride. Had a great view. Chris was knowledgeable about the area and friendly. Over all was a great experience. Only downfall was due to rain we weren’t able to go over the skyway bridge and ended up taking a shorter flight but still paid for the longer one.

A superb collection of art pieces and plenty of information: four floors of a wonderful variety of art and illustrations, furniture, decor galore, tiles, and ceramics. The first floor has a gift shop, cafe (fantastic soup!), and restaurant. The building is spacious and handsome. So easy to get to just off the interstate–and free 2 hour parking nearby. I became a member immediately, and will go back soon!

We never expected to spend so much time here. From the daring and imposing design of the building itself inside and out to the vast collections it was a visit of discovery. Furniture, tiles, pottery, graphics, lighting, and photography 4 large floors of exhibits and a ground floor gift shop and cafe. There is plenty to see here. In the special exhibition space the photogravure pictorial photography was especially provocative. We spent two hours longer than we’d planned. Discounts for many including postal peeps like us. Lunch at the nearby Hollander Hotel also recommended. A great take!

We approached the new St. Petersburg Pier on a picture perfect day. Checked in for Eco tour tickets about 90 minutes before the tour started. The entire staff on the Tampa Bay Watch Ecology Tour were friendly and informative start to finish. Our Tampa Bay tour guide, Savannah, was incredibly well informed regarding the fragile environment surrounding us. She explained her research efforts and kept us interested throughout the tour. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! đđ´

My daughter came here with her school and she said it was fun to do a squid dissection. But she also mentioned she tried to help the guide by telling her class to be quiet since they were very loud and the guide, who happened to be a grown up, told my daughter that she needs no help from her and to stop. Wow⌠So a grown up adult tells a child to stop and that she doesnât need help is not only rude but also setting a terrible example to a bunch of little kids who are learning that trying to help someone is apparently not OK.
Please make sure you speak to your employees about manners and how to address adults and children alike and how to behave generally. This is a public place and people who canât work with children or any type of public should not be working with them.
I hope this is taken into consideration for the next school trip you guys get from another school.

I took my son to the Bay Babies class for 3-6 yo. He had an awesome experience! The staff running the class were so enthusiastic and it was very well organized. At the end, my son said, âHurry! Letâs go see some more amazing things!â Well worth it.
